Letter from the President
Our Board Members
Kathy Power
I have been so grateful to live in Okanogan County for the last 50 years. During
that time, I have owned several businesses as well as my wonderful farm which is
located at 3000 feet out of the Okanogan Valley.
I have been, and continue to be, very active in fighting for our property and water
rights. Challenging all the ESA (Endangered Species Act) listings that have been,
and continue to be, so detrimental to our farmers and ranchers.
I also have many years in helping folks with fire Relief and Recovery projects
caused by the devastating fires that we’ve had to endure because of the ESA
listings that have caused the destruction of our once thriving forests and timber
industry.
It’s a never-ending list the environmental extremists’ organizations continue
burden us with.
Your voice and your membership in the Okanogan County Farm Bureau continues
to help us advance our common sense solutions to the non stop list of issues we
continue to fight for agriculture and for the people of Okanogan County.
